The Japanese speaking Tourist Guide Association in Belgium (JGAB) is a non-profit organization formed by Japanese speaking tourist guides in Belgium. We hope to cooperate with you and develop our activities so that Japanese tourists can have a more fulfilling and enjoyable trip in Belgium.
Purpose of the association
The Japanese language tour guide is not a part of the local public organization, but is a job of individual people who handle the commissioned work from the tour arrangement company, and there had been almost no horizontal connections.
Objective
In the midst of the global changes in social conditions (especially the development of the Internet) and changes in the quality and content of group tours, the whole travel industry is changing greatly. By linking up with travel agencies, tour operators and local institutions, our aim is to impress the Japanese tourists and make them happy and grateful for our work.
We also aim to contribute to the society as a sightseeing guide in Belgium, since we mainly work with the cultural heritage of Belgium.
